W to launch Ministry of Sound private members’ club
Global entertainment brand Ministry of Sound has hired W to promote its forthcoming private members’ club and collaborative workspace, The Ministry.
Located in a Victorian warehouse on Southwark’s Borough Road, The Ministry will cater for creative companies and professionals working in PR, music, culture, media and technology.
Lohan Presencer, chairman of Ministry of Sound, said: “The Ministry is by creatives for creatives – music companies, film and TV producers, marketing agencies, PR companies, creative technology start-ups, fashion designers and the arts.
“W has a history of delivering London’s most talked about openings – through bars, restaurants and clubs. They know shared workspaces better than anyone and have a deep understanding of both the creative industries and our local community in south London. Their creativity and connectivity is unparalleled and they were the obvious choice to be part of this project.”
Warren Johnson, founder and global CEO of W, added: “Ministry of Sound is an iconic global brand firmly embedded in the cultural fabric of London. When they told us about this exciting new chapter we couldn’t wait to be part of it.
“Having worked with the original trailblazers in both the shared workspace sector and the world of members’ clubs, we knew we were best placed to help this extraordinary business bring these concepts together.”
