Clarion lands Edinburgh Dungeon brief
Clarion Communications has been appointed to handle PR activity for The Edinburgh Dungeon‘s visitor attraction for the remainder of 2017.
The agency will initially work on The Edinburgh Dungeon’s summer campaign, which will feature an immersive “stunt” that will be taken onto the streets of Scotland’s capital.
Other duties include ongoing media relations and news generation to drive excitement and footfall to the attraction, particularly around key trading periods.
Francesca Dymond, marketing manager at The Edinburgh Dungeon, said: “Clarion came to us with some exceptional, exciting ideas and absolutely nailed the essence of the brand. The Edinburgh Dungeon is a uniquely thrilling place, and our PR has to match up. We’re looking forward to an exciting and fruitful summer!”
Rebecca Wainwright, associate director at Clarion Communications, added: “The Edinburgh Dungeon is a unique visitor attraction based in the heart of Scotland’s capital, with a wicked sense of fun and creativity. They are keen to push boundaries and aren’t afraid to take risks; a dream come true for a PR agency.”
