College Hill wins GS1 pitch
25 October 2012

GS1 UK, the not-for-profit data standards organisation for barcode and tracking technology, has appointed College Hill as its retained PR adviser following a competitive pitch.

Using a unique numbering system, GS1 UK standards enable the reliable identification of products and assets throughout the supply chain, making it faster, cheaper and safer for its 26,000+ members to serve their customers.

College Hill’s corporate team will support GS1 UK by growing the organisation’s profile and reputation within its core markets of retail, food and drink, and healthcare. GS1 UK’s team here will be led by Zoe March, and supported by Tim Fallon, Victoria Cross, Jeremy Durrant and Lottie Whyte.

“We’re really looking forward to working with College Hill and taking the next step forward in our strategic development,” commented Gary Lynch, CEO of GS1 UK. “They have the skills and sector expertise to take GS1 UK to the next level, which will help to create and enhance opportunities and visibility for the organisation. Our combined efforts will keep GS1 UK at the forefront of our stakeholders minds as an essential partner for operational success.”
