Waggener Edstrom’s former head of digital, Jon Silk, is set to join Bite's board of directors.
In his new role, he will provide consultancy on strategic digital communications across Europe. He will work with the agency's heads of content, creative and client services to develop integrated digital marketing and creative campaigns for clients. His joining date is yet to be confirmed.
Jon’s appointment is part of Bite's drive to offer full service digital marketing and communications, from site design and build to online marketing and social media engagement strategies.

Jon's appointment follows several recent key appointments of ex-journalists including Mike Harvey, formerly technology correspondent and features editor at The Times, and Justin Pearse, editor of New Media Age.
